How to Apply Fake Cluster Lashes
Question:I love the fluttery look of falsie clusters. How do I put them on?
False eyelashes make your eyes flutter and flirt like nothing else. Tiny clusters of two to three lashes fill out sparse areas subtly so the effect is more natural than full strips of falsies. And the good news is that cluster falsies are easier to apply than the latter. Here's how:
Putting on falsie clusters...
First, squeeze a tiny amount of lash glue onto the back of your hand. Then gripping the cluster in the mid-section using tweezers, dip the base of the lash into the glue. Hold and wait a few seconds until the glue gets sticky.
Next, place the lash as close to the lash line as possible and press gently to secure the cluster. Repeat the process, placing two or three clusters of falsies in the center and near the outer corners, spacing them out along your entire lash line.
Wait for about 30 seconds for the lash glue to dry, then gently comb your lashes with a lash comb. Line your eyes with liquid eyeliner or a smudge of dark eyeshadow for definition. Complete with a few pumps of the eyelash curler, brush on a coat or two of mascara and you're ready to go.
The gentlest way to remove fake lashes is to use an oil-based eye makeup remover. Massage with your fingers and the falsies should come off easily. Don't tug at the falsies; you might accidentally rip off your own lashes.
