Preventing TSS

You can reduce the risk of TSS by alternating the usage of tampons or internally worn products with sanitary pads. Also, use tampons with the minimum absorbency needed to control your flow. Change your tampons as directed on the packages, and read reviews and information on the absorbency your tampon brand.

Individuals previously diagnosed with TSS should not use tampons.
