Post-Peeling Care
Common side effects of AHA peels are redness, flaking, dryness and skin irritation, but these diminish over time. You can still engage in your normal activities the day after an AHA peel but remember to protect the skin daily with a good sunblock that offers both UVA and UVB protection.Smoking is also discouraged for up to a week after the peel because smoking slows down the healing process.
