Ingredients

Besides indicating what's used to make this product, the order of this ingredient list is just as telling -- the ingredients are listed in order of descending weight, meaning the first ingredient you see constitutes the majority of the product, followed by the second ingredient, then the third, and so on.

Scan the list for some not-so-healthy ingredients to avoid (especially if they are at the top of the list), for example, anything with the word "hydrogenated" (a clue that trans fat lurks in the food), refine flour, corn syrup, sugar, artificial coloring, flavors, and sweeteners.
