Laser Skin Resurfacing

Fight skin blemishes with these popular laser treatments.

Erbium Laser

  • Also known as Er:YAG or Erbium:YAG laser, this ablative lasering technique works by burning the surface skin layers to promote collagen production underneath. The Erbium laser works in a similar way to the CO2 laser, but resurfaces with less heat and is gentler. However, it doesn't tighten the skin as much and the results are less superior.
  • Suitable for: It is also used to erase wrinkles, acne scars, irregular pigmentation and sun-damaged skin.
  • Down-time: Down-time is about 1 to 2 week, after which most of the redness will have faded. Wait for one month for complete recovery.
